Microsoft 365 setup for admins
You need to be a Planbook Admin, and a Microsoft Entra ID admin (Global, Application or Cloud Application Administrator) for step 3.
- In Planbook, open Settings → Sign-in and turn on Microsoft.
- Under Microsoft 365 organisation, click Connect your organisation and sign in with your work account.
- Microsoft shows a consent screen listing what Planbook asks for: your basic profile and email, and the ability to keep you signed in. Tick Consent on behalf of your organisation and accept. People in your organisation won't see a consent prompt after this.
- Back in Planbook, choose whether everyone in the organisation joins automatically, and the default role (Member is suggested).
- Share the Planbook link. People choose “Continue with Microsoft” and land in your team.
What Planbook can see
Only openid, profile, email and offline_access. Planbook can't read mail, files or calendars.
Removing access
Disabling someone in Microsoft stops them signing in. Removing them from Planbook (Settings → Members) takes away their access to the team.
